  1. I just wanted to say I enjoy your blog, and am quite impressed at your photography! I like to experiment in the kitchen as well, and it's fun to compare notes with the GD Kitchen! Keep up the cookin', and if you're in the mood, I have little to no experience cooking seafood and would love to see what you could come up with!

  3. Rave review, Katie! I've read all the recipes posted so far, have smiled, laughed out loud, and gained ten pounds mentally from vicarious over indulgence in your delightful food. More, more, more.

  6. Katie - this is Jen (Carlie's sister-in-law) and I love your blog! The recipes all look super yummy, though I have not tried any of them yet. I have a request for quick, easy, healthy recipes that I can make with a VERY active 9 1/2 month old little boy crawling around. :)

  10. Thanks, Katie! We are doing great. Ryan keeps me very busy, but he is well worth the hard work! How are you guys? How is military life treating you? Thanks for helping me out with recipes. I plan on making your banana oatmeal pancakes - I think Ryan will love them! :)

  11. Hi Merni! Thanks for checking out my blog! Cucumbers...hmmmm. I love using cucumbers in fresh salsas for my grilled foods during the summer and for gazpachos served chilled. But I do have a recipe coming up soon for tzatziki!

  19. Some great Italian pasta dish! Also I saw your comment on Joy the Bakers blog - the measuring cups are from Anthropologie but they no longer carry them but they have other cute ones to choose from. http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=973291&parentid=HOME-KITCHEN-GADGETS&pushId=HOME-KITCHEN-GADGETS&popId=HOME-KITCHEN&sortProperties=&navCount=60&navAction=middle&fromCategoryPage=true&selectedProductSize=&selectedProductSize1=&color=095&colorName=MULTI
