homeschool wrap-up: february!

we started off this month with the finale of our italy unit! grape stomping!!

this presents a problem as gabriel is already finished and he thinks floors are strictly for wrestling ;)

this kid is struggling with his letters but darned if we don't ROCK our numbers!

but at 2 1/2 years old, i'm not too worried :)

as most of you know, i plan the lessons and organize the activities.
but when i have an idea, i "suggest" to my mom that she come up with something fun.
and she goes crazy and makes it amazing!!

we invited my dad and he only agreed to put on a tie if there was good food :)







i made real clotted cream from raw milk!
it wasn't perfect but it was pretty darn close and very good with blueberry preserves on homemade scones!

the boys behaved beautifully with my mother's wedding china but of course, when they were released, jack immediately broke a (minor) candle holder.
of course.
