memere's 80th in new england!

A couple weeks ago, we loaded up the boys and traveled up to New England to celebrate Mike's grandmother, Memere's 80th birthday!
All of her children, most of her grandchildren, and all of her great-grandchildren attended to celebrate with her! And not to mention all her dear friends!!
We were a grand ole party and loved every second!
Happy Birthday, Memere!!

three hours into dallas for our flight!

:)

reading in the airport

we don't have juice often so this is always a highlight of flying...

making birthday cards for memere!

our flights were delayed for hours and there was a TON of turbulence (poor MV threw up twice) but the boys were champs!
here we are eating "dinner" at 9pm (well past bedtime) and waiting on our rental car!

finally made it! 12 hours of traveling! and it was national wine day so my mil saved me a glass at midnight!

our WONDERFUL b&b!

we rented the whole thing out for our family!
we've stayed in dozens and dozens of b&bs in our lifetime and Escobar Inn was BY FAR the best!

shucking clams for the clam boil!

throwing rocks into the Sakonnet

Dawn, our innkeeper, who Gabriel renamed "the zookeeper", created the most delicious spread of breakfast you've ever seen!
homemade yogurt and granola, berries, fruits, homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes, omelets, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, you name it!

throwing leftover pancakes to the birds

and the b&b had amazing games to play outside!

memere's house wasn't quite big enough to play in so we spent alot of time playing at the b&b!

starting to crawl!
