lately...

our life lately has been busy and love-filled!
here's a glimpse...

feeding the chickens!

...and catching loose chickens...

...and transferring baby chickens!

"working" in one of nanny's gardens
last soccer game of the season!

all of our date nights from now until next month will be spent renovating a house.

the boys get to help too!

new beadboard installed and michael unscrewing the hardware.
by himself.
the entire kitchen.

jack is a great help...
...getting dirty and climbing to unreachable places.

but he does help at the hardware store :)

and, of course, they both help watching the baby!

life:
messy shoe buckets...

...apparently the library exploded...

...telling secrets...
and playing in the rain!
mike is volunteering with our church's youth group and one of them asked him to join him at the school's veteran's day ceremonies! i was thrilled to see him back in uniform :)

...and gabe...

...and mv...

but mike had a great time at the ceremony!

during our trip into dallas for my grandmother's birthday, first on the list was a new haircut for me! mike and michael were at michael's first aggie game (whoop!) and my mom and grandma watched the two little ones while i got an afternoon to myself!

not too drastic but much needed from that long South America hair :)

gabe loving on gaumy

we also ate some pretty fantastic food that you can't get in east texas...

and an anthropologie run is always needed, when in dallas...

mike got a new suit!
first aggie game for our big boy!
on the quad...

at march-in

new kyle field!

at the godinich's tailgate

yay!

so funny story...
we traded a friend of mine our old BOB stroller for tickets to the game. they were perfectly good tickets but while mike and michael were watching march-in, this sweet old lady asked if they wanted 1st deck, 15th row, 47th yard line tickets. for free! um, yes! this always happens to my husband!

he loved to yell!

watching the band!

it was a great game and he can't stop talking about it!

but then it was time for the real reason that we were there...to celebrate gaumy's 80th!
with homemade coconut cake, topped with seven minute frosting...
three generations!

four generations! and LOOK! all kids! smiling! and looking the same directions! it's a miracle!

gabe, wandering around III Forks, when he couldn't sit still...

and blue bell for dessert! a great weekend!

other than all that, we've just been taking it easy and enjoying our little life!

we hope you have as many things as we do to be thankful for this year!
